Fictional Knits: Watson Scarf

When I watched Sherlock Holmes:  A Game of Shadows, I instantly knew I had to make Watson’s scarf from it.  I also knew I had to make Irene Adler’s dress from the beginning, but I haven’t quite gotten around to that one yet!  Knit in wool ease.

Fictional Knits: Yoko Scarf

While Yoko Littner from Gurren Lagann is a little bit to daring of a cosplay for me, I thought her scarf would be really fun to wear around.  So I knitted a version.  I made it a little larger and more scarf-like,  so I could use it in the winter.  It is a tube with the ends sewn together, and is just about the warmest thing ever.  When taking the photo, I figured I would add in a little Yoko-inspired cleavage.  Hey, you can’t do something based on Yoko without the boobs, right?  It fits more like a cowl in person, but I was holding it up to show more detail.

Fictional Knits: Slytherin Scarf

I’ve been doing a series of knit projects I’m calling Fictional Knits:  Knit accessories from shows and movies.  My latest installment is a request from a friend who wanted a Slytherin scarf!  So I pulled some green and grey acrylic from my stash, and made her one.  It’s modeled by my long-suffering cat, Yuffie, who is being photobombed here by our other cat, Peace.
